Cynthia…That’s Me

Cynthia boyer

Thank you for visiting my abundance cottage cafe.  Here is where I make my sanctuary.  Right here is where I get to connect with you and to share why I do what I do.

I love to write.  It is like a present that God has gifted me; one that I get unwrap and open everyday like it’s Christmas.

My name is Cynthia Boyer and I am writer, self-taught graphic artist and owner of many businesses. I have this entrepreneurial spirit that gives me the opportunity to work in the comfort of my home everyday with my focus and goals being helping others.

While my husband is at his 9-5 teaching safety classes about trains, I am in my office writing and creating designs using different platforms.

My goal though is to be a blessing and help to others.  Most of my adult life has been spent helping other women who often just need an ear; I am that ear.  I never really respond unless they ask me my opinion.  It is then that I pour out my heart to give me a peek into the sunshine that surrounds them even when they are not aware that it is.  I become the voice they need to help them to feel better about themselves or the current situation in which they find themselves.

My phone rings constantly nonstop.  Girlfriends calling, but the most calls I receive are the ones I get from my daughter who lives two hours from me.  She calls to talk to me four to five times a day to share her blog, her current position as an executive as well as to share with me what he two boys, Beau and Kelo are up to.  Her husband bought Beau last Christmas and surprised her and my oh my did he ever.  Beau is a handful, but she loves him dearly.  He has more energy than 10 puppies put together.  And Kelo is a gentle giant; a Rottweiler who just lays low most of the time. He has a vicious bark, but a calm demeanor.

I am also the grandmother of one grandson who was born on Christmas Day in 2016.  He is a doll if I have ever seen a doll.  My daughter resides in the UK so we face time  often so that my baby knows me and he does know me.

My two sons are business owners.  My youngest son and baby of the family even though he is 23 years old, writes for Basketball Society.  I have to say that I am blown away by his style of writing.  My oldest daughter writes as well.  They both write better than I do, but they always tell me that we all have our own unique style of writing. My oldest son has his own business that he enjoys managing and I must say he has done a phenomenal job.

I was caregiver for my mother who died September 15, 2017.  My heart broke in half when I entered into her bedroom around 12:45 am and found her not breathing.  My life has not been the same.  It does bring me great joy knowing that I did all that I could to provide love, comfort and laughter for her. I replace these thoughts when I feel a flood of tears welling up inside of me.  When I hear a song that has the potential to make me cry, I have to change the station because I’ll get real down.  It’s hard when you lose someone you love so deeply and dearly.

I am Cynthia.  I hope you will visit my website time and time again to be amazed at what you’ll find here, but most importantly, I pray that what you do find here blesses your life in some way.

Cyndi
